VYKON Honors Distributors

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS January 25, 2009 – Today, in a long standing tradition at their annual distributors meeting held in conjunction with the AHR Expo, VYKON, Tridium’s facility automation distribution channel, announced the recipients of several performance and growth awards. The award-winning distributors were honored during a dinner with their industry peers.

All VYKON Authorized Distributors are considered for award recognition based on sales volume, projects implemented, technical competency, marketing excellence and continued commitment to supporting VYKON’s open, intelligent automation and control solutions. These awards reflect the importance that VYKON places on the distribution channel in supporting worldwide growth.

The Summit Award for the highest performing distributor of the year went to Activelogix of Charlotte, North Carolina. Greg Barnes, vice president of Activelogix said, “We are honored to receive this recognition. For us this achievement is a reflection of a lot of hard work from our entire organization, and our customers who see value in using VYKON solutions for their automation and control business with Activelogix. This award is a great foundation for continued success in the coming years.”

Receiving Platinum honors for outstanding achievement were, Cochrane Supply & Engineering, Madison Heights, Michigan; Controlco, Concord, California and Activelogix. Elite Distributor distinction went to Control Consultants, Weymouth, Massachusetts and Long Building Technologies, Englewood, Colorado and the award for Innovator Distributors were presented to Universal Supply Group, Hawthorne, New Jersey; BITS, Waukesha, Wisconsin and Energy Systems Technologies, Grofton, Maryland.

In presenting the awards, Ed Merwin, field sales director for VYKON, congratulated the winners and thanked all of the distributors for their contribution to the business. “These awards were very closely contested and it is a privilege to recognize all of our distributors who earned them. “It is a strong testament to our full commitment and engagement at every level with our network of VYKON partners.”
